Because they are made from scratch without using molds, they are unique and exceptional creatures in the world.
To give them lives, something junk and treasured to the me are stuffed with in this creature. For example, acorns, seashells, dead leaves, dried petals, broken balloon fragments, stones picked up at somewhere, beautiful strings, acrylic lumps, tickets to exhibitions I couldn’t go to.
It seems somthing we have become attached to or have spent a lot of time with hold a spirit or soul.
These creatures are like spirits with a soul.

役には立たないけどなかなか捨てられないものがあります。例えば、拾ったどんぐり、木の実、貝殻、枯れた立派な葉、枯れた花、割れた風船の欠片、旅行先で拾った石、きれいな紐、行かなかった展覧会のチケット、もう使わないポイントカード、壊れたおもちゃの破片。
だんだんと愛着が湧き、ガラクタでも生命を感じるようになります。そんな大切なガラクタを中に詰めたり、立体の一部として使って造形作品をつくっています。魂が宿った精霊のような生き物たちです。
部屋に置いておけば家の守り神になって邪気を祓ってくれると思います。
